Further Pokémon Crown Tundra Details Revealed!

The Pokémon Company have released a new video outlining further details for Pokémon Sword and Shield and Pokémon HOME outlining several new details about the expansion pass and news regarding the Pokémon HOME Service including a release date!

First shown in the trailer are that all of the legendary Pokémon from every previous Generation, from Mewtwo to Necrozma, are battleable and catchable in Dynamax Raid Battles within the Crown Tundra. Work together with friends to find and take them down for an opportunity to capture them! Another regional variant will be making an appearance with Galarian Slowking finally being formally revealed and shown to the public. Now a Poison/Psychic type, as opposed to its traditionally Water/Psychic counterpart. Galarian Zapdos, Articuno and Moltres as well as Regidraco and Regieleki were outlined as catchable within this expansion too.

A new mode introduced in this trailer was the Galarian Star Tournament in which you can team up with any important character from Sword and Shield and battle other characters in 2 on 2 multi battles in a tournament at Wyndon City. They will also be adding 100 returning Pokémon for all players, regardless of whether you own the expansion pass or not. They also unveiled an event for players to be able to obtain all previously released Ash Hat Pikachu by using special serial codes the first of which being “P1KACHUGET” with more to come in the near future!

And finally, The Pokémon Company reiterated that GO to HOME compatibility will be coming this year and all players that link GO to HOME will get a special Melmetal capable of Gigantamaxing as well as get the Mystery Box in game just as they would from sending to Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee.
