Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition’s Physical Version Finally Gets a Release Date

Capcom announces December 1st to be the release date of the physical release.

When it was announced last month, Devil May Cry fans were left perplexed when the only version of the upcoming Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition, that was confirmed to have a release date was the digital version, which is launching alongside the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Now, thanks to the official Twitter account we have confirmation that the physical release will be on the 1st of December, just under a month after the digital release.

Fans who have yet to play the game and have somehow managed to avoid all story details until now will no doubt be shocked to see that Vergil is in the game, but it looks like that is no longer of any concern for Capcom.

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition brings back the stoic but ferocious Vergil as a playable character, along with extra play modes and ray tracing to give players more of that frantic, skillful action that the series is known for.

Are you planning on waiting for the physical release, or are you going to pick the game up digitally as soon as drops? Let us know.
