After weeks of leaks, hearsay, and rumors, it seems that the third and final entry in Transformers’ ongoing ‘War for Cybertron’ line of figures has finally been officially confirmed, and things are going to get beastly.
Following in the chunky, metallic footsteps of Siege and Earthrise (the first two entries) respectively, Kingdom will focus on the Autobots and Decepticons coming into contact with the heroic Maximals and dastardly Predacons, stars of the much-beloved Beast Wars era from the early 2000s. Beast Wars sees the Cybertronian warriors assuming much smaller bodies and taking on forms of Earth’s prehistoric inhabitants as a way of conserving energon.
Speculation and rumors surrounding the third part of War For Cyberton have been hotly debated over the past few weeks, and a low-resolution poster reportedly showcasing the cast of Kingdom was recently posted, which you can view below.
Then, not even a week later, Netflix (which is hosting an animated adaptation of Siege later this month) confirmed the news that yes, Kingdom is officially the name of the final entry of War For Cybertron.
