‘As December Falls’ Rocks Out With New Single ‘Go Away’

The addictive, charismatic, pop-punk sensation As December Falls is back just after their Happier Tour concluded with the new catchy single “Go Away” that you just can’t resist playing on repeat. The British band is reminiscent of the early 2000s rock music that dominated radio waves during the time and has been releasing hit after hit with their unique sound consisting of pop-like lyrics and punk rock riffs.

Their new video throws us back to the days of Sum 41 with the skatepark setting and a melody that wouldn’t be out of place in a Tony Hawk Pro Skater or Burnout game from the same era. If you’ve been out of touch with the genre since then you’ll be immediately thrust back into the angsty feel that so many of us related to in our formative years. The fisheye lens is a nice touch too, as well as showcasing the band’s unique look and their infectious energy that will have you wanting to dance and sing along with the beat of the song on repeat.

As December Falls at Sin City, February 2022 (colourised)

After recently witnessing their sold-out show at Sin City in Swansea, finding out a new song was released so quickly alongside an October UK tour was the best news I could have had this week. If you enjoy the band’s sound, seeing them live is well worth your time as their concerts have an intimate feeling—the band is incredibly friendly and are happy to meet the fans that helped them get to where they are now.

UK Tour 2022

The song is now available on all major streaming platforms, so go check it out alongside their other albums, if you’re a fan of pop-punk then they are definitely the band to watch in the scene right now!
